Internal Hemorrhoids
This is the first kind of hemorrhoid that typically develops in the upper side of the anal canal, which is often not seen by the naked eye.
One of the most common symptoms of hemorrhoids that are internal is a mild bleeding. This is just a mild condition of internal hemorrhoid, but can worsen depending on the degree.
There are usually four known internal hemorrhoid degrees that you should know. These degrees will let you know the severity of the condition and will help you to know the best treatment to have, to cure your condition.
- 1st Degree – This is where the hemorrhoid is only present in the area of the anus, and doesn’t usually infect the other surrounding areas of the anus. This is not a severe case of hemorrhoid, which will eventually disappear after a week or so. That is why this degree of hemorrhoid won’t cause any problems at all.
- 2nd Degree – This is a hemorrhoid condition wherein the main cause is the movements of the bowel, which typically strained the anus area. This is the time where the hemorrhoid will slowly move into the outside part of the anus. The bleeding will now be visible at this degree of the condition, but it will stop once the straining has been completed. After this, the hemorrhoid will slowly go back to the anus itself that will help the anus to heal by itself or by mild medications.
- 3rd Degree – This condition of the hemorrhoid needs physical treatment, because the hemorrhoid needs to be pushed back inside the anus. You need to consult your doctor, because he needs to check the severity of your condition. You don’t have any options with this degree, because the only thing that will let the hemorrhoid to be pushed back inside your anus, is by pushing it physically.
- 4th Degree – This type of degree is where the hemorrhoid in the anus already have a protrusion. Unfortunately, once the hemorrhoid is out it can’t be pushed back inside physically. You will need to consult your doctor about this degree, for him to be able to give you the right treatment that will help you with your current condition.
External Hemorrhoids
Now the last type is the external hemorrhoids, wherein the hemorrhoid is visible in the outside area of the anus. You will notice them, because of their blue like color and balloon like appearance, which are typically veins that are covered by your skin. You won’t be feeling any symptoms at all, but when they get irritated these hemorrhoids become tender and red which can sometimes be painful.
